Word of Faith Church was launched on the 21st July 2002 under the leadership of Pastor Andrew Mutengu.
Word of Faith Church is situated in Mbale, one of the major eastern regional towns of Uganda.
The Lord has done great things in the lives of many through the church's activities. As a result the church is growing spiritually and in numbers, and having a positive impact on the people of Mbale town.
By the grace of God the church has been able to obtain a piece of land though more land is still needed. Funds are also required for the construction of a Cathedral in this area. The area where the church is located is one area which is densily popullated and good ground for evangelism( the fact being that its sorrounded by many muslims and people of different believes) Join us to expand, establish, build and root God's Kingdom in this Area.
