Victory of
EPCO Church in defense against the Vicious Attack February 26, 2007 VICTORY!!! Hallelujah!
Today, over 60 people from our church stood in the snow in front of the court building. We sang hymns and prayed for justice. Our preachers preached, and then they went in the building to meet the judge. We continued to sing and pray, as two local TV stations filmed us. Thankfully, it was a sunny day for us, though just above freezing. Several members of other evangelical churches also joined us--coming from as far away as Nikolaev. After 1/2 hour, Pastor Valera Babuinin and ruling elder Dinis Dudkin returned and announced that JUSTICE was done! The judge threw out the ridiculous case against us, so he thereby reconfirmed our rights of ownership to the historic Reformed building downtown. HALLELUJAH!!! We were all stunned that it was over, and we milled around congratulating and hugging and giving praise to God for another hour. We noted how God has used this in our OWN lives --bringing humility and confession and nwe vision and unity and holy fire. "Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning." Our God REIGNS! Thanks for standing with us in prayer -- so celebrate with us the Victory! PRAY to THANK our God!!
