Because of the increasing number of widows in Kenya, JOE MINISTRIES thought it wise to begin widows fellowship last year. This is to encourage the widows especially those whose husbands died of Aids and have lost hope of living.

The church is therefore committed to assist in counseling and material needs.

We are praying that God may help us to start a money-generating project for this fellowship.

We have pastor Joram Avedi being the pastor patron to the widows. We pray with him that God may give him a heart for the widows and the orphans. Joram is also a nurse by profession.

The widows meet every third Saturday of the month. Very soon we are planning to have widows conference. We therefore appeal to any fellowship of this kind outside there or anybody with the heart for widows to contact Pastor Joram Avedi P.O. BOX 49O,
