God's Love and True Hope for Man.
The Bible tells us in Romans chapter 3:23 that all have
sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. The Bible says that we
became that way through the sin that Adam committed in the garden
when he ate the fruit and brought that sin into mankind. No man is
basically good Romans puts it this way "there is none good....no not
one" (Romans 3:10).
The Good News
There is Good News. Good
News is what the Word Gospel translates to in English. The Good News is
You can be made right and good. The Good News is that Jesus through the
sacrifice of Himself on the cross. He took your sin, pain, your
sickness, your instability, your grief. He took it ALL. He did not
leave anything out. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says that He became sin for us
so that we could be made the righteousness of God in Him. His Blood was
poured out to wipe away all the guilt and shame of the past.
He, Jesus, became our
sacrifice, and our scapegoat to make us what we in ourselves cannot be
without Him, Righteous, having right standing with God.
Going to a church will not
do it. Being a good person and doing good things will not do it. That
right standing that Jesus provided is only through receiving Jesus as
Savior and Lord. Surrendering your life to Him and Letting Him Live in
and through you. Then and only then can you be in right standing with
God.
He Loves you, He wants you
to know Him, He wants you to receive Him and all that He has provided
for you. All you need to do is call on His name.
A simple prayer to receive Jesus
Jesus, I admit that I have sinned, I
turn away from that sin.I recognize the finished work that you did for
me on the cross. Jesus I receive you now as my Savior and my Lord,
thank you for the blood that takes the sin away and makes me a
new person in You.
