Jesus Our Rose
Pick a rose and you shall find an aroma most pleasing to your spirit and mind.
Its beauty, its depth beyond compare, a soothing aroma which fills the air.
Look at my Son and you shall see a similarity meant to be. For that sweet smelling savor is what His Life is to Me.
The red for His Blood, The petals drop one by one, so He shed His blood, my only Son.
His beauty runs deep layered within and without, yet it withered away to free your life from all doubt.
You see the rose full of life drawing life from it's source, till its plucked from its home and set on a new course.
God planted Jesus (through the Holy Spirit) a most precious seed inside of Mary, He was the stem growing inside her and then came into full bloom through His birth, and when He was born, the Son of the Living God tasted death for the first time. (Unlike us when we were born we tasted life). Jesus came from the Light to a dying earth to give us back Life. So there He lay so beautiful in full bloom so precious to you and me, but just like the rose when plucked from its source starts to die for all to see. Beloved Jesus truly gave up more than we realize. For His death through the cross was not His beginning of death, but truly was His end, as He truly began to die the minute He experienced life on earth. Truly He began to die from birth, through His life His petals began to fall one by one, ultimately leading Him to the cross where He said it is finished, it is done. The Rose of Sharon had died, but through the power of His life giving Spirit He rose back to the Life He'd always known, was seated at His Father's right hand, there with His Blood for us He atoned. So as you look at your most precious rose, beautiful for all to see, as the petals begin to fall one by one, think of Jesus God's only Son who died so you could be free. Think of how when Jesus had to leave heaven, it was like cutting a beautiful rose from its life giving bush, there truly is only one course, but thanks to Jesus He came and died to return us to our Life giving source.
God Bless You
