Thanks for stopping by my website! I am a Christian broadcaster, voice-over artist and aspiring writer. This site is where I keep some of my writings, reviews, and info about myself. About me...
My name is Cindy Swanson. I am a wife of 27 years, mom of three kids in various stages of adulthood and almost-adulthood, and a radio news announcer by occupation.
This website is being created in order to share some of my passions and interests with those of you who might be interested. They include:
reading--I am a voracious, insatiable reader who will read the back of the ketchup bottle if there is nothing else available! I've put together a few book reviews that might be of interest to you, and I'll be adding to the list in the future. I'll also be sharing with you some info about my favorite books and authors.
music--I love to sing AND listen to music...in fact, I don't think I could survive a day without music in some form! I like the best of most musical genres, and will share some links and info about some great music, especially Christian music.
news--I'm a confirmed news junkie, and along with links to some great news and commentary sites, I may throw in some editorial comment now and then.
Ireland and Scotland--My lifelong dream is to go to Ireland and Scotland, and of course I'd throw in England and Wales too (while I'm dreaming, why not dream big?) My favorite movie of all time is "Braveheart," and there will be links to a couple of cool related sites.
voice work--I am an experienced voice-over talent, having a good deal of experience doing everything from commercials to video narrations and all kinds of stuff in between. This site will be a venue to market myself as a voice-over artist.
public speaking--I also do some speaking to ladies' groups,etc., and I enjoy it very much. This site will include info on how to contact me if your group is interested.
And definitely not least:
My faith in Jesus Christ defines me and I couldn't live a day without it. You'll find my testimony and how you can learn more about Jesus and the Christian faith if you're interested. I urge you to do so!
I also love to write, about just about anything and everything, and this website will be something of an outlet for that. I love humor...laughing is one of my VERY favorite things to do...and I love being a mother...love traveling...love spending time with friends and family...love watching really good movies ....well, I love a lot of things, and hopefully I'll be able to share a little of all of that with you, and get your feedback as well.
Please bear with me, as this site will probably be in various phases of construction for a while.
