Hold Your Tongue

They say that the tongue is the strongest muscle
And rightly so for the tongue makes the words
And the words are full of power
That can heal or destroy in a breath
With words a lover declares his love
With words a villain vows his revenge
Yet it's also true that the hands hold the power
For with hands a lover shows his love
As with hands a villain extracts his revenge
At once the hands do destroy
At once the hands do heal
What is broken by the hands
Is replaced by the hands
But what is broke with the tongue
Cannot be replaced with the tongue
With the tongue God did create the universe
With the hands we do destroy the universe
So what be stronger, hand or tongue?
What will you use in your life?
Whatever you use, do so with care.
Either can result in your own destruction.
