Reflecting and PerspectivesEven athiests have their gods. They just find different names to call them by, but a god by any other name is still the thing. God created us as God-seakers. We desire and need Agape (unconditional love), and we seek it in the comfort of all our "gods", but only the true God has what we are looking for, all else are miserable, and in their misery, they cry, "How can God allow me to suffer so?" But they suffer because the enemy has trapped them in his lies and they cannot find God. We suffer when we put our trust in anyone and anything lower than the God, for only he can fill us with that which we require to be fully human. The enemy suffers and is bitter, he wants us to suffer, too. He does not love us. He does not care for us. He may not even hate us. Perhaps, he doesn't care for us at all, neither lover nor hate. It is God he cares about, God whom he hates. Our suffering and separation from God hurts God, and that is the enemy's goal. We are mere pawns in his game, chess pieces he is trying to manipulate so he can get a CheckMate on the King. What he does not realize is the King already has him in Checkmate and is biding his time before he calls the guards to drag him away from the board and toss him into prison, where he will await the Eternal Pit of Fire for using the creation in such a manner.
